As a thumbnail, the styling and juxtaposition were good and drew me in. But closer, I am annoyed but how blank and void her expression is (this is a weakness of the model, rather than the photographer, though). The way her top has been pushed up for no other reason than to expose her piercing and tatt; it looks extremely posed. This person looks a bit void to me, I can't tell anything about her character. No one should mistake blankness for cool, or a tattoo for edge, even in fashion these things have to be handled with subtlety. This is not subtle, and it is not edgy.
Having said all that, it's just my opinion. The main thing is that you are going out there and playing around in the way that you inspires you. It doesn't have to inspire everyone, if it works for you.
first of all, how do you know my expression is blank? being the fact that i am wearing sunglasses i would find that would be hard to determine...second, the shirt may "appear" posed to you but the reason it is pushed up is because i was previously rolling on the ground...just because i have a tat doesn't mean i am forcing the image to appear edgy...and last, i never asked for critique on this photo...i know and accept that every image is not perfect but i don't care...i love them and i share them...
Cool shot. Has a nice edginess to it. I love your pictures that are beyond your beauty and show some drama or story to them. "Where have you been, where are you going, what did you do or what are you about to do"?
Brave and undaunted hearts, eyes lit with laughter, Minds that outran the ancient doubts and fears, They blazed the track for legions following after, And bared new treasure to the hungry years, Till spent with strife they sank amongst the spears. "The Pathfinders - Vance Palmer"
